Mississisppi Weather Media is an evolving company of high skilled technical people. Started in 2014 by Jay Robertson and Dean Meeks as a online weather channel for Mississippi. MSWXMEDIA partnered with Unity Broadcasting in 2014. This partnership allowed MSWXMEDIA to produce live TV and continue to stream online. 2015 has proven to be just as productive with the possibility of a dedicated 24 hour per day weather channel in the possible near future. In addition to weather MSWXMEDIA has produced many campaign commercials for TV and online media outlets. MSWXMEDIA also specializes in low to medium cost website design. We at MSWXMEDIA are excited about the future and look forward to serving the people of Mississippi.

This ensures that if one data source goes down then the website still functions. Most TV and online weather sources are only supplied with 1 data source.MSWXMEDIA has 7 data sources that poll data 24 hours a day. MSWXMEDIA does not use NOAA or National Weather Service for Temp data because this data is only updated 1 time per hour. MSWXMEDIA has a update rate of between 1 and 10 minutes. Sources that use NOAA temp data are TV weather broadcast, online Apps, ect. Most of the time these weather sources will be wrong on temps. Always use MSWXMEDIA for the most accurate temp data. Different slides poll data from different places, so a temp will update in one slide before another place on the website. So you can have 2 different temps for one city.
